7 pm September 10, 2021
30 guests will enjoy an intimate evening of jazz with the North Atlantic Jazz Alliance featuring Markus Burger, Jim Linahon, Marshall Hawkins, Jan von Klewitz, Paul Kreibich.
In addition to the extraordinary entertainment of the evening, this event will include hors d'oeuvres, desserts, and une variété de vin.
The North Atlantic Jazz Alliance is comprised of musicians who have played with Miles Davis, Frank Sinatra, Ray Charles, and a host of other jazz legends. Their music is included in a film entitled "Miles and Trane" in the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History. This event includes a private viewing of the "Miles and Trane" film and an opportunity to meet the musicians.
This event also includes an international art exhibit organized for the Pratt Museum by the Alaska World Arts Festival.
PLEASE NOTE: The North Atlantic Jazz Alliance and 82-year-old Marshall Hawkins (who played bass for Miles Davis) have requested that all attendees show proof of Covid Vaccinations or a negative Covid test within 96 hours of the event. This is not Festival or Museum policy. It is a request by our at-risk performers. Thank you for understanding our position.
