But does it really? Where did we hear that and why do you think we heard it? The goal of this workshop is to teach writers to start regarding their stories as something to be built through many dramatic elements — the least of which is what we see and what we hear. We’ll study existing text to see how others fill the worlds they imagine, then we’ll write our own and share that work with each other. We’ll learn the difference between “Lights rise…” and “A sliver of light sneaks across the floor…." NOTE: This is part one of a two-part class (09/10 & 09/17).
